Perifractic's Retro Recipes is a happy & wholesome corner of the world grounded in childhood nostalgia. As the channel's reach has grown, sadly anonymous offensive comments have too. They have no place at ЯR.
It's a problem across all of YouTube & unfortunately YouTube's comments warning notice & abuse policies have done little to stop those determined to offend, & YouTube make comments impossible to ignore in the Creator control panel. (Another issue can be fielding 100s of repetitive comments that mirror things already said.)
To avoid abuse, a channel owner might choose to shut down the channel, or shut off the YouTube comments. In this case, we're simply testing that feature provided by YouTube, on certain videos.
Retro Recipes continues to welcome any and all constructive comments via any of the sites on the Contact page as those sites have "real name" policies that deter abuse.
